Optimal Orientation of Solar Panels for Multi-Apartment Buildings

In this paper, we present a mathematical algorithm for the optimal orientation of solar panels multi-apartment buildings. Currently, photovoltaic power generation has increasingly become an effective method. It advantage not causing environmental pollution; however, it disadvantage relatively low efficiency. To increase efficiency panel, one can consider rotation. However, if there is limitation to rotation angle especially in buildings, desirable install panel at under given constraints. Therefore, simple and practical method evaluate installation panel. Using proposed method, easy find achieve best based on latitude azimuth angles. demonstrate effectiveness algorithm, several numerical simulation results are provided.
